DIMPLEX CALGARY FIRE SUITE CGY20MHLE DIMPLEX is extending its range of electric fire suites with the introduction of the Calgary, part of a series of suites designed to meet the needs of social housing providers and their tenants. With a range of safety and energy-saving features, the Calgary is easy to install, economical to run and low on maintenance.

The freestanding design is a complete suite, with brass effect Optiflame fire with coal effect, cream marble effect back panel and hearth and mahogany effect surround. The colours combine to give a warm yet modern feel to a room and create an instant focal point.

The suite comes complete with three metres of cable and a quick-fit kettle connection for straightforward installation and flexibility over placement within the room. Wall brackets are included for secure fixing in place.

For economy, the fire offers a choice of heat setting, with a powerful 2kW output that can be reduced to a half heat setting of 1kW when required. The Calgary also incorporates a highly accurate thermostat for maximum energy efficiency.

The flame effect on the Calgarys fire can be used independently of the heat to create a cosy focal point to any room, with a running cost of only around £2 per year. The LED lamps behind the award-winning flame effect have an expected lifespan of 100,000 hours, or around 55 years, meaning replacement costs and maintenance call-outs are minimal.

With dimensions of 1230mm wide, 1053mm high, 380mm deep including hearth and a 225mm mantelpiece depth, the Calgary is ideal for even smaller rooms.

As its electric, the Calgary is 100% efficient at the point of use, isnt limited by flueing requirements and can be installed anywhere with a power supply. And like all DIMPLEX fires, its BEAB approved, which is an additional guarantee of independent and continuing safety monitoring. The suite also offers overheat protection and safety cut-out for total peace of mind.
