• Approved to BS6759.
• No guide fins to become jammed.
• Self contained spring & valve disc spring chamber assembly.
• Precision lapped valve disc.
  BAILEY 490 STAINLESS RELIEF VALVE 50MM

The 480/485/490 liquid relief valve spring is housed in a cartridge type assembly which can be withdrawn from the body without disturbing the pressure setting, thus allowing the seating surfaces to be cleaned without the need to reset the valve.

The 480/485/490 are suitable for use with positive displacement pumps either of the rotary or reciprocating type and have been used successfully with water and most corrosive liquids.

They can also be used as a relief or combined relief and bypass valve and can be modified to operate as an integral pump by-pass relief valve.

The 480 is a bronze relief valve, the 485 is also bronze with a renewable stainless steel seat while the 490 is all stainless steel.

The inlet and outlet connections are screwed and a pressure tight screw on dome prevents leakage through the pressure adjustment assembly.

Valves are certificated prior to despatch to confirm traceable serial number and set pressure.
