Apex Heritage cast iron products are produced by the traditional sandcast method, in which the sand not only imparts the authentic cast iron texture and appearance but also allows for example pipe collars and ears to be cast in one piece with downpipes.
Alumasc combines traditional sand casting expertise with new methods wherever appropriate.
The company has perfected the welding of cast iron so that fittings or offsets to suit a particular situation can be specially fabricated where the alternative of making a pattern and casting would not be economic.
Alumasc holds master patterns for a wide range of gutter profiles, downpipes and accessories, which can be manufactured to order.

The boiler flue part I ordered from mytub arrived by courier on the promised day and time. However, when I opened the box on the evening I found the part was damaged. As I had not checked the part when it was delivered I was expecting a lot of hassle to get it changed. However, how wrong can you be After just one e-mail to notify mytub of the damage they quickly resolved the issue by delivering a replacement part to me and arranging for the courier to pick up the damaged part, and all this on the day before a bank holiday weekend!
