After its success at the recent ISH fair in Frankfurt, Roca will be present at Construmat 2011. This, the 17th edition of the International Construction Exhibition, will be held from 16 to 21 May at the Fira de Barcelona showground.

Roca’s novelties for 2011 will be viewable at its innovative stand, designed in partnership with Germany’s Dan Pearlman studio. The brand’s proposals for the bathroom space will convey to visitors Roca’s main messages: Innovation + Design, Creating New Emotions, Loves the Planet, and Defining New Bathroom Experiences.

In line with the three themes around which this 17th Construmat is focused –-rehabilitation, innovation and sustainability– Roca offers visitors the chance of a close-up look at its most innovative bathroom solutions, which include the exclusive Armani / Roca bathroom space, an integrated, elegant interior design concept created in collaboration with the prestigious Italian firm.

Roca’s stand will also be presenting the surprising In-Flow bathtub, the result of work at its Innovation Lab. With it, the brand is offering a unique solution that combines to perfection wellness, thanks to the enveloping effect of its lateral waterfalls; sustainability, thanks to the system that allows you to use considerably less water than with a normal bath; design, with its faucets in the form of enveloping waterfalls; and technology, with its comprehensive hydromassage system with remote control and touch screen.

Other novelties that are most representative of the brand for their technological innovations are the In-Tank Meridian WC, created in collaboration with Fluidmaster, which integrates the tank inside it, thereby making installation easier and optimising the flow of water; the Hybrid faucet, which can be used as a normal single lever faucet or as an electronic one, thus achieving water and energy savings; and the luxury Lumen Avant toilet, which combines design and comfort with intuitive technology to provide new functions that fit each individual user. Additionally, the Amberes basin, ideal for any kind of space, and Hide & Seat, a multifunctional shower space with integrated seat and storage and an intelligent design that permits the space to be reorganised, are proposals that stand out with their original concept.

Additionally, Roca will be presenting its most recent novelties in floor and wall tiles, including the Tívoli, Carrara and Palazzo collections of top-quality marble that combine the nobility and majesty of classical marble with the ease of cleaning and maintenance of ceramics.

The new 140 litre Low Volume Celtic steel bath is the latest development in water efficiency from Twyford Bathrooms. Now available to order, the Low Volume Celtic bath takes less than 140 litres to fill to the overflow, while still providing a comfortable bathing experience.

The problem of water scarcity is increasing globally, and current usage is unsustainable so water saving is a key element in new homes, hotels and institutions. Installing this standard sized bath (1700 x 700mm) could save up to an estimated 14,000 litres per person, per annum in a typical domestic setting – which equates to approximately 40% saving in bathing water usage.

New UFH products

JG Speedfit is pleased to announce the launch of the new innovative Underfloor Heating product ranges. These consist of a new wireless Heating Control System, an ‘Overfit’ Heating System, which can be installed on top of existing flooring and a new range of Stainless Steel Manifolds. All of these products are designed to quicken the installation process and ease heating control once installed in the home.

The wireless control range allows the user the ultimate flexibility of installing them wherever they choose within the room. Being wireless significantly reduces installation time and worry. The controls have a range of up to 100m and a whole host of unique features.

The Overfit heating system uses slim and grooved, foil faced insulation panels meaning the system can be placed on top of existing floor structures. This method is ideal in instances where traditional underfloor systems require either expensive excavation or would involve the floor to be raised to an unacceptable level.

The 4-12 port Stainless Steel manifold can be utilised for Underfloor heating and radiator distribution systems. These high quality manifolds come with UK standard 15mm Speedfit Push-fit connections and incorporate easily adjustable flow regulators and a built in automatic air vent.

Ariston Launch NEW Unvented Cylinders

Ariston have launched a brand new range of high quality stainless steel floor standing cylinders – Aquabravo. Designed with energy efficiency in mind, Aquabravo cylinders feature low levels of heat loss, faster recovery and reduced heat up times. The range comprises direct, indirect and twin-coil models which all comply with the latest Building Regulations and tested to 12 bar pressure.

Aquabravo ITD direct cyinders are available in 130, 150, 215 and 305 litre models and feature two 3kW immersion heaters that are supplied with a regulation thermostat and dual pole thermal cut-out. Aquabravo ITI indirect cylinders are available in six models (80, 130, 150, 215, 255 and 305 litres) which feature a ground-breaking coil design that allows the full quantity of water to be heated.
