Mark David have been appointed agents for Ballerina Kitchens covering an area stretching from north of the Thames up the East Coast of the UK. Churchman meanwhile will continue to look after business for the brand in the UK south of the Thames.

Mark Evans of Mark David said:

“Ballerina is keen to expand its business in the UK,

“and Churchman approached us to see if we could work with them and Ballerina covering a large section of the UK. Having visited the Ballerina factory and had the opportunity to study the range in more detail I am convinced that this is a great product for the independent kitchen specialist in the UK and it is capable of giving them the flexibility they need.”

Ballerina has a number of features that will appeal to the more experienced kitchen designer. These include a drawer box system from Grass with a variable width, 24 colour carcases as standard, 1800 RAL lacquer colours available for a very small premium, four base unit heights and a choice of 450 doors across seven ranges.

“One of the Ballerina features that stood out for me was its ability to produce digitally printed laminate to provide a similar service as book matching veneers,” said Mark Evans. “This means that on an island unit for example, the design on the doors, drawers and side panels can follow all around the island. There was a striking example of this in the Ballerina showroom at its headquarters in Rodinghausen and it will be one of the first of the new displays I’ll be putting in my showroom.

“I waiting until after the Ballerina hausmesse in September to finalise the new plans for the showroom and to update the Mark David website with the latest images but if there are retailers that would like to speak to me about the opportunities that Ballerina can bring to their business that can contact me via the website now.”
