Daval continues successful growth

daval-continues-growthDaval Furniture says it has enjoyed a fantastic first half of the year with sales up by 15% on the previous year.

Daval showcased at its first trade exhibition earlier this year where it won the distinguished ‘Innovation Award’ for its Como Bedroom and signed up seven new retailers, all of whom are taking on Daval kitchens and bedrooms to feature in their showrooms.

With the economy showing exciting signs of improvement, says Daval, the retailers were looking for a product with added value that helps them stand out against their competitors. New stockists include Purely Simply Lovely based in Lancaster, and Imbue in High Wycombe..

Daval also launched its new handleless kitchen ‘Spa Fields’, named after its Huddersfield address, as well as a new painting department.

Daval says its success and demand from retailers around the country is being driven by its new and innovative products such as Bramham, a painted in-frame kitchen, and its award winning and stylish Como bedroom range. And to respond to the increased growth the company recently employed five new warehouse operatives in its Slaithwaite factory.

Simon Bodsworth, marketing and development manager at Daval (seen here), said:

“Many UK manufacturers have experienced tough times throughout a number of recessions, however it is becoming more apparent that the economy is changing and Daval has experienced positive growth, especially in 2014 so far.

“We recently launched seven new kitchens which have created a buzz amongst our stockists, and we’re looking forward to launching our dedicated Daval showroom at our Slaithwaite based Head Office this summer.”
